I Warsaw Fly Fishing Meetings AD 2023

Date of the meeting: 28.01.2023r

Meeting place: The meeting will be in The headquarters of circle No. 7, at 120 Grójecka Street. It is a self-contained, small, one-story building (the front door from the courtyard says it is the headquarters of Circle No. 7, then down the stairs);

Start 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.( max. to 3 p.m. if participants wish)

Program:

1. Przywiatnie participants;
2. Presentation of the Fly Gallery and Namuche.co.uk
3. Presentation: Dr. Stanislaw Cios, March Brown primary
4. Michal Wierzbicki, (Polish champion in fly tying, Suprasl, multiple winner of various fly tying competitions in Europe) - Presentation of March Brown and various modern techniques in fly tying, such as braiding;
5. Presenetation: prof. Maciej Pszczółkowski:  n.t. bluegill fly fishing;

In between, workshops, fly tying demonstrations, talks, exchange of experiences.

Please let me know who will be spinning flies at your function. I encourage you to bring your fly tying workshop for this time as a travel version.

For nibbles: pickled cucumbers, lard, bread. Coffee, tea on site.

Please do not bring alcohol. Beer as the only permitted beverage of this type.

My Dear Friends,
it turns out that you can.
That you can find the time,
That you can come and listen to a lecture,
That you can have the desire to come and meet with colleagues and talk about flies or flyfishing;

For my part, first of all, thanks to:

- Speakers:
* To Michal Wierzbicki for the March Brown shooting demonstration;
* Staszek Cios and Maciej Pszczółkowski for the lectures;
* Tom Mazurczak for showing collectible wooden fly reels.
* The Linden Fever Society for taking care of young flytying students;

Many thanks to all the participants for coming in such large numbers. I thought there would be less and there were so many. Great.

It was nice to see those I know as well as meet new ones.
There was wonderful bread and lard with pickle.

Next meeting in the fall.

And now it's time for Pomerania and Gdynia!!!!! We start organizing the next meeting.
