When I bought my first bow ties in a store in Katowice on Provincial Street in 88 I was amazed at how many there were. When I bought my first bow ties in a store in Katowice on Provincial Street in 88 I was amazed at how many there were. This little thing made such an incredible impression on me that I used to come like this every week and buy 10 pieces of new designs each.
The first were dry flies with wings. These were the most common. Something like CDC was not widely available( at least in this store) and reading WW's book it was obvious to me that they were the most important.
This magic duck wings did such an amazing job.


Who has, spins and fishes with such flies today?

  1. Mops are ordinary "cloth" in the form of a mop that you meet in stores like Pepco, Bricomarche or slippers from Aliexpress, at least....

  3. Adam, my opinion is this. Since someone, once created(a set of materials, arrangement of wings, etc) gave a name to something( in this case a bow tie....
