For quiet summer evenings, another imitation of a cockle will come in handy. For the wings I used a material that is not very often used - guinea fowl feathers with a nice centred pattern. This crustacean floats well, but it can also be successfully used as a wet fly guided aggressively after soaking. When fish take bottoms just below the surface, such guiding guarantees a good time - strikes will be strong and sure.
